Who is MTXE (the poster) and should he be banned?

After watching him come out with both guns blazin after the Creighton loss, I am convinced he is either:

A. A troll who is a fan of another team; or
B. Someone with a big axe to grind with HCGM; or
C. A previous poster who has been banned.

I think he should offer proof he is not one of the above or leave before the posse shows up.

I'd go with B. I don't think he's Cold, because I actually enjoyed Cold. Even if he is "B," I don't think he's done anything to deserve being banned.

I don't think he should be banned. He's obviously intelligent with reasoned posts. He's all in when we win, and all out when we lose. He doesn't take kindly to poor performance and just speaks whatever he thinks knowing full well it won't go over well here....

I respectfully disagree. If you look at his initial posts, the intent was to flame. He clearly was not a shocker fan. Since then he tried to change his tune a little, but the motive of doing so was to create a facade of impartiality until days like this.

I don't necessarily think he should be banned, but Coldblooded is/was clearly pro Wichita State for a long time. Even though I found some of his later criticisms unwarranted, I actually miss his contribution to this forum and am disappointed that things turned out the way they did.

I should clarify that my disagreement with MadDog's post is specifically the claim that "He's obviously intelligent with reasoned posts." I don't think we can qualify his intelligence based on his posts, but there is very little objectivity to his contributions.

I don't think he's probably done enough to actually ban him. Cold was hurling insults at other posters and going a little insane there at the end, which is why I wasn't sad to see him banned.

This guy is just overly negative and seems to enjoy pointing out everything that isn't right. I don't think that is enough to ban him.

I don't care for MTXE as I don't think he/she has really brought much to the board....but I would hate to see this site become the "Mecca".

The answer to the original post is D. He/she is a Shocker fan with a different point of view and people on here don't like different points of view that aren't the status quo.

Nope. No banning. He's not being abusive at this point and he's basically playing a big 'devil's advocate' with his posts. People can choose to ignore his viewpoints if they choose to. At this point it's just his opinion vs. others, and there's nothing wrong with that.

Now, if he becomes abusive against other posters or players or coaches then that will be different, but until then... carry on.

And to add on to what shockar25 said, if MTXE starts calling other people names like others on here have done, then he may need a couple days off, but nothing that warrants a ban.

I think he's a WSU fan that has particular views... he's just very unfan-like at times. kinda like KCshox except less logical.

I dont kno why MTXE says what he says. why he thinks the way he does. But i think he is a fan of WSU. an unconventional one. ... one that makes our fan network site look bad at times (yesterday).
