MTXE, you just need to know when to shut your mouth and keep your comments to yourself. You wonder why people hate you on this board, it's because of posts like this, you constantly bash on the program, coaches, and players. Stutz didn't have much of a chance; CU played very good post defense.

At least we are giving Stutz a chance. If he would have gone to Kentucky he would be at a school like Newman, or he would be carrying Cousins' books around campus and taking his tests.

There is no way Stutz will ever average close to 20 a game, but if he averages 12 a game by the time he is a senior I will consider his signing legitimate.

To be gifted with 7 foot height and not be in the NBA.

So the game has advanced to the point where a crisp, untouched bounce pass should be expected to fly between the expansive hands of a giant man, gently floating over his shoulder and out of bounds?

The look on David Kyle's face said it all after GS robbed him of an assist with that bungling.

That bounce pass wasn't a good one. David couldn't have thrown that one off the floor any harder if he tried. It was like a freaking rocket being launched off the floor. That one isn't solely on Stutz. Get a clue.....

A rocket launched off the floor huh? Have you ever seen Gabe Blair through a pass. Fast and crisp. I like fast passes. I think HCGM likes fast passes as well. I think bounce passes could never be too fast, hence the bounce at the half-way point.

Everyone knows A properly thrown Bounce pass hits 2/3's or 3/4's of the way in between you and the target.........C'mon MTXE, this is fundamental stuff.

Overall this season, Stutz is playing far better than I expected. And he will only continue to improve.

personally i think stutz will be a beast by the time he is a senior. right now he seems to struggle against more athletic bigs but as long as he continues to improve i cant believe anyone would claim he was a waste of a scholarship. hes already better than ellis.

Stutz will be a great player but he should have had that pass. He wasn't even paying attention.

IMHO, I don't think HCGM had only a "one year" performance out of GS in mind when he signed him. GS has to become a player sooner than his senior year.

That was a very difficult pass to handle. It would have been an exceptional play to have cleanly caught that ball. Stutz did not have a very productive game but almost no one did. His progress from last year to this year is obvious on multiple levels for anyone that knows and understands basketball. IMO, if he makes a simillar degree of progress between now and next year, he will be a major contributor. One poster was complimentary of Blair and his passes and I assume believes he would have handled that pass. Perhaps so ... but he also had 5 turnovers ... a hell of a lot for a power forward that played 22 minutes so do we start the "Blair sucks" thread? Of course not. This is just one of those typical, nonsense, critical threads that always show up after an emotional loss. You always judge a player, coach and team on their body of work ... not a single game.

Simply put, Stutz needs more moxy in his game to become a dominant player. Will it happen, who knows, but it is time for another lightbulb to go on for Stutz.
