Clevin is certainly OUR MVP this year, but I doubt he makes first team. Dillard from SIU has better stats and will probably be above Hannah if we don't win it all. Remember, Mo Evans averaged like 22 ppg as a sophomore and was second team or honorable mention. Can't remember which.
One other thing...Hatch has, to this point in his career, FAR EXCEEDED my expectations. I was hoping for a hard working kid that was able to gut out 10 minutes a game. Maybe a bigger Matt Clark type. He's become a poor man's Jason Perez. He does it all and I really love him! I was sorely mistaken in my evaluation of his talent.

Regarding Hannah/Dillard, if you include non-con, I believe Hannah leads Dillard 5 categories and Dillard wins 3, including finishing 1st in assists with Hannah 2nd. A push at the worst for Hannah.
Valley only stats, Hannah leads Dillard in all but assists, he's 1st, Hannah 3rd.
This conversation is laughable. Did you guys forget that P'Allen Stinnet is still playing??!!!
He'll always win the MAP (most arrogant player) award as long as he is there.
Does he lead the league in T's or is he still just at 1?
I'd still take our top 5 over the best 5 you could come up with in the league. They play very well together and Clevin definitely keeps the team going. Hatch is right there with him, but CH's postion is a little bit more important.
When we get to March Madness and play Pitt , MR Hannah will be a pleasant surprise to the entire country (are you listening Las Vegas?) as the Shox advance to the next round.
Yes, you heard it here first.

From MVC site.
On yahoo.com Dillard leads Hannah in every category except percentages. Hannah is a better shooter from anywhere on the court. Dillard leads Hannah in points, assists, rebounds, steals, and blocks. I'll take Clevin, but in season stats I've got Dillard at 5 to 3.
With point guards and quarterbacks, wins should be weighed equally as stats.
How does that work out for Mr. Dillard?
Not only that, but Clevin is beating Dillard in the efficiency stats. He has better shooting percentages and a better assist to turnover ratio.
Just scoring more or just getting more assists doesn't mean a whole lot if you cost your team more possessions through extra missed shots and turnovers.

Since both play about the same number of minutes per game, throw in fewer turnovers and then also add a better Assist/TO ratio for Hannah (or you can throw out the assists and TOs and just count Assist/TO). And since we're counting Dillard's 4 blocks, let's include PFs per game which Hannah wins 2.0 to 2.53 for Dillard. And while Dillard slightly leads Hannah in rebounds and steals, Clevin blows Dillard away on all shooting %s. Let's see, I have it Hannah 6 and Dillard 5 and most of the areas Dillard leads, he has a minimal lead, where Hannah wins big in some areas. Hey, stat-wise it a push, but the idea of this exercise is who is more deserving, and even from a Valley perspective, Hannah should win based on this time of the season.
