WSU VERSUS CREIGHTON PREDICTIONS

This game should be a war. It should be one of the better games on ESPN2 this season. That's what it should be.

I'm going with WSU in this game. I went with MSU at Springfield, so this isn't just a homer prediction. WSU has the better team. Front court is Lawson vs. 4 guys for WSU.

This isn't a "rivalry" game, but the coaches seem to hate each other. The players seem to hate each other. One team will handle the pressure of the rivalry and not go overboard with their motivation. I think Marshall beats Altman in that game.

I think Marshall is getting into Altman's head. I've seen a bit from Marshall that shows he will do that to gain an advantage (Ellis starting to disrupt an opponent).

I think Marshall will win th4e coaching battle and that will be enough to give the more talented Shox a road W in CU's house.

I like Bardo. He is knowledgeable about the Valley and does not shy away from heaping credit on its teams.

I'll be interested to see who they have in the house on Tuesday. ESPNU so maybe we get Bardo again or Mac Macausland.

The Shox need to get a win today for national publicity. People do not get to see WSU play very often and this is definitely a showcase game for them. I like our chances. We have to keep control of the game and not let the crowd get in to it; very much like the Indiana St. game. We cannot allow them to make a run in the second half like the Missouri St. game. The key to beating Creighton is controlling Lawson Jr. I think we do that today and a stellar win for the nation to see.
