    Altman

Altman is a salty coach in some respects. Curious that he has only managed 2 NCAA Tourney wins after so many appearances.

I realize that the Valley always gets the short straw when it comes to seeding. Any thoughts about why he has been unable to have any success in the post-season after 20 years and a number of chances?

The NCAA tournament is one of those things where anything can happen. I really don't think it's logical to judge a coach's abilities or determine success/failure from the results of 1-3 games at the end of the season. Just getting there, at least in my mind, says much more. There are too many factors at play in the tournament games for anyone other than 1-4 seeds against the 13-16 seeds to expect victories.
