I'm not surprised UT won. I never believed for one minute KU was the no. 1 team in the nation, top 10 yes, but not no. 1. Going on the road to a ranked UT is a tall task to get a win.

I don't consider this an upset. Cornell, that would have been an upset, but losing to the 16th team in the nation at their place is a not that big of a surprise.

Besides, they were going to get beat sooner or later, they sure the heck weren't going to go undeafeted. There are going to be more no.1 ranked team upsets before this season is over with.

So Tennessee beats Kentucky, who cares?

I really don't get the resentment that some of the old guard WSU fans have for KU.

It's one thing to not get along with the holier-than-thou beakers that show up here once in a while, but starting a thread bating them to come here and squawk is not sporting.

They lost a tough road game. It happens.

What would be the real shame here is if KU drops out of the top 5 after this loss. UNC had to lose four games (three to ranked opponents) before their ranking took a major it.

Yeah, they're the #16 team in the nation, but they aren't the team they were last week. Without looking up the exact numbers, I believe 30 or 40 ppg have been suspended. 6 scholarship players left, pretty sure they played all of their walk-ons vs KU.

I "agree". Why all the heartburn?

We all know that the beakers root for WSU like they all expect us to root for them.
