I saw that Angela Buckner will be inducted into the HOF. Congrats to her. In looking at the list of prior inductees, and given the recent MTXE attention, it struck me that Gene Smithson should be added to that list. Ralph Miller and Gene Johnson are the only hoops coaches in the Hall.

Angela is most deserving of this honor. If I remember correctly she played her entire sophomore year with a stress fracture. That was the only year she did not make all MVC. She graduated from WSU in three years. Her fourth year she started work on her masters. A great student athlete and Wichita native.
