Originally posted by martymooseI'm guessing we aren't sold out because of one of the following three reasons.
A. People think it's sold out already because there have been no tickets available for the last few games.
B. People aren't that pumped about a Creighton team who's looking like they'll finish 8th or 9th in the Valley.
C. People are afraid CU is bringing their own clock operator and WSU won't have a chance."Prediction is very difficult, especially if it is about the future."

I don't think the fact that the game is on espnU is much of a factor. Not that many Wichitan's get the U.
The Bradley and Drake games were both on Kansas 22 and it didn't seem to affect the attendance at those games. I would think that espnU would have even less of an affect.
I think the 1 pm start on a Saturday, combined with the Brad Paisley concert, the cold weather and the fact that some may just assume that the Cu game is sold out has slowed down ticket sales for this game.
I would be shocked though in spite of all of that, if the game does not end up being sold out. :goshocks:

Sell Out
I'm thrilled that Brad is sold at at Intrust tonight. He is one of the best Country Music artist to come along in many years. Got to meet him and see him entertain back when he was first coming on the scene at Terry Burford's induction into the DJ Hall of Fame in Nashville some 9 years ago.
For the many of you who don't know, Terry Burford was the afternoon drive DJ on KFDI-AM from 1966 - 1999 and one of the greatest DJ's ever as well as a wonderful friend. I had the thrill of submitting his name to the HOF committee and the night I got a call from Ol' Mike telling me that it was a success was one of the greatest moments of my life.
That being said, there is no reason that we cannot sell out the game against CU. This is the hated Bluejays folks. Make it happen!
