Went over to the BJC to see what CU fans were saying about the game.

Nothing.

Nada.

Zilch.

The move to Rivals and a premium board (and probably somewhat due to their season so far) has zapped the energy from their online fan base.

One of the main arguments for going Rivals/Scout is to get more interaction between fan bases. There was some of that already on the old BJC. Now there is little to no cross-talk that I can see. I'm sure their disappointing season is contributing some, but you can't blame all the deadness on that. I'm almost tempted to go over there and start a WSU-CU topic and see what happens.

While I think don't think it would be as bad for us, I'm quite thankful that SN posters have significantly voted down any interest in going to a Rivals/Scout site.

I went ahead and started one on the free board at 9:32. Just six views so far.

Marshall is known to let off the gas pedal in the 2nd half so to not run up scores once the Shox have a 15-20 point lead. If the Shox get to that point Saturday, I don't think Marshall will take the foot off the pedal in this one. And I am cool with that! :D

I see absolutely no reason to let off the gas pedal in big games and especially not in conference games. We have a team and a coach with something to prove and I hope we run up the score on every... single... team in this conference and it starts this weekend with CU.

As 'Big Dog' said before the Bradley game to the team.... "Make them regret ever coming to Koch Arena to play you." That's what we need to do, and doing so will adequately 'avenge' our tourney robbing.

We know GM wants this game bad and I'm sure there's not a single Shocker who wants to disappoint him.

I like WSU's chances in this game. Alot! Its a rival and it is in Charles Koch Arena and we are playing pretty well. Also Creighton has only won 1 road game this year and that was against Evansville.

Keys:

1) Contain Kenny Lawson Jr. In the games where he has scored single digits, Creighton has ended up losing the game. He is very important to this team.

2) Get Kenny Lawson out of the game. We need to attack him whether it be through Durley on the block or Hatch, Hannah, and Murry driving at him. In the games where he has played under 20 minutes, Creighton has lost. We need to try to get him in foul trouble.

3) Defend for a whole game. I don't remember that last time WSU has played a good first half and then not let up a ton of points in the second half to make the game close again. Good teams defend for 40 minutes!

I think the shockers will win this game. I feel like we are a lot better and that Creighton is a very inexperienced team.

I was 6 points higher (76-64), but I did predict a 12 point win.

As I've said earlier this season, this Shocker team will get its 70 points, the question is how many the other team will get:

Creighton 48

And that will be after Bryce, Mason, and Tater go in for the last five minutes. I'm also predicting a P'Allen Stinnett technical about the time the Shox go up by 20.
