We needed to just backdoor the hell out of those guys when they were overplaying us like that. Of course it didn't help that the refs wouldn't call any grabs or holds.

I'm glad at the end of the season it will look like a close road win.

That's because it was a close road win. (Although it was much closer than it probably should have been)

Hopefully, it will also prove to be a good learning experience.

MSU has a nice looking team. They won't lose much (if any) more games in Springfield. From that standpoint it is a really big win in the MVC, regardless of the final margin.

You are right, but at least we didn't let it slip away this time. That would've been SO deflating for fans, the team and the coach. They made just enough plays to 'finish' the game off. I was just sure that they'd make a run, but it would've been nice if we could've just answered it instead of letting it build.

Still a nice win for these guys that should be something for them to celebrate.
