Williams looked great tonight. Gives me hope he can run the offense next year.

I think you have to blame Josh Young's decline on the talent of his teammates, inside there's no one worth a double team and Wedel is the only other quality player.

Do I get any bonus points for my post in the pre-game thread that accurately predicted the appearance of Mason Felter?

It's hard to be disappointed with as 23-point win, but this game almost achieved it. It took until the middle of the second half for the Shox to get untracked.

The guy who got escorted out of the building by guys with guns was 2 rows in front of me and about 10 seats to my right. I thought he threw one of the souvenir balls. I thought it hit on the steps before bouncing past the seats. I'm surprised more of those balls didn't find their way out of the stands.
The future's so bright - I gotta wear shades.

Officials blew anus. There was a series of absolutely brutal calls in that stretch that were inexplicable. The missed traveling calls were perplexing as well.

I was sitting in a different part of the arena tonight.. sec. 120 go figure.. 2 rows behind the "bottle thrower". It was weird. He said nothing. Not one word. Then the officials walk over to the scorer's table and he just chucks the thing straight for Don Hall's head. He came up about 5 feet short. There might've still been some water left in the bottle too.

Now believe me, the way those calls and that whole nonsense went down I would have wanted to see one of those morons get faceplanted.. But acting on that thought is completely different and uncalled for. I was embarrassed..

As to the game, that was horrible play. We didn't look like we cared 75% of the way. Another just "going through the motions" type game, similar to ISU. The crowd was dull throughout because of it.

              1. Hatch needs to learn how to make a smart pass.
              2. TM is flustering out. Now he did make a better effort to pass the ball and he made some great passes, but something's up.
              3. We could have outrebounded them by 40 but we looked lethargic at times.
              4. Gabe Blair is about as solid as ever.
              5. Unforced turnover count was mindboggling. We managed to win by 23 but turned it over 11 more times than DU.
              6. Kyles is so quick. He can take over a game even quicker.
              7. We are a blocking machine.. and we should have been given our height advantage to the Pups.

Margin looked bigger than it did. Glad it did. Gotta work harder when the Braves come in Sunday. That should be a W though.

We were wondering what happened when they were making that announcement about not throwing things. I'm glad 99.999% of the fans had enough common sense to not to start throwing things. Nothing good could ever come from that.

You already used up your bonus point allotment when you painstakingly (for me) described in detail the importance of being a technical writer (i.e. one who proof reads instruction booklets).

I personally think the dull start after the break is due to homesickness on the part of a few players.

Of course Gabe doesn't get homesick because Gabe is a man.

Even though DK shot 9 times tonight, I can't think of a single shot that was a bad shot or an unadvised shot. I mostly remember shots that rolled out or spun out. I agree with you, I think he has potential to take over a game at any time. It was a really good game for him. I still have no Idea how he got that Alley Oop.. Blew me away

The 38 points that Shox held Drake tied their record of "fewest points" that was set 61 years ago (also tied in 1985 against Gonzaga) [hat tip to Drake message board for that piece of trivia].

David Kyles is a freak of nature. Garrett Stutz couldn't get his head that high if he was on a ladder.
