I feel so dirty.......so like I totally stole this from Matilda's site.....don't tell anyone.

Here is a fair and balanced approach to one Jay fan:

"Good write up. I pretty much agreed with everything up until the part where you said "the Creighton starting line up should wipe the floor with UNI's". One team is 10-1 and has beaten some decent competition. The other team is 5-7 and has beaten NO ONE of importance.

Would you really take Lawson over the big stiff? Egleseder is a walking double double in the MVC. Lawson is decent but really really really soft and really really slow on help defense.

Young over Ahelegbe? Ahelegbe is phyically strong and has good basketball smarts and is one of the best guards in the MVC.

Carter over Koch. That one is certainly debatable. Looked to me that UNI could have posted up Koch all night and we wouldnt have had an answer. Carter doesnt have the size to play the four and Im not sure why we keep trying to put the square peg in the round hole.

And Im not sure I would take Stinnett and Ashford over Moran or Farokhmanesh.

For fans to think we have "all this talent" is a bit delusional. Look around the valley, we dont have any more talent than anyone else in the MVC and in some cases we have less talent and certainly less size. If you all thought UNI was more physical than Creighton, wait until we play Wichita St. It will be boys to men.
With the confidence this team has right now, does anyone have any reason to believe we can now go on the road and win two in a row? We have a real shot at starting out 0-3 in the Valley. I still say we are looking at a .500 season."
