        I believe they do these each week during the season and have done so for the past several years. I suspect local beat writers submit the blurbs for the teams they cover, but I'm not sure.

            A very detailed and up-to-date report on the MVC teams. Most everyone in the Valley has some "feel good" going on right now and the conference grind will soon bring out the contenders and beat down the pretenders.

            I thought the WSU portion of the report was the weakest of all contributions. Whoever writes it needs to work harder and offer some tidbits that don't emerge in the media room.

              Seems right on the mark to me. But if you think it's a weak assessment, it's probably because we are still flying "under the radar".... 8)

                I am pretty sure Sully wrote the blurb, mainly because the article pointed out that Tim Jankovich and Gregg Marshall were hired in the same year and that The Redbirds went up and the Shockers remained down. If I can remember right Sully did an entire article about this earlier in the week.
                The mountains are calling, and I must go.
