With three games this week it will be tough to go 3-0. If we do though, look out!

That's pretty amazing. Ahead of Butler? Ahead of Cal? Ahead of Memphis?

        Wow.

Let's hope the guys don't read the clippings and think they're *all that*. They have A LOT to prove yet.. starting tomorrow night.

Still, great results so far.. :good:

The Associated Press article got us some votes along with a few losses by the teams above us.

EDIT We have one vote in the ESPN/USA Today poll.

Isn't that a little like being the prettiest girl in North Dakota?

As silly as this may seem, receiving votes and having a one-loss mark on our record will make our guys a marked team. Other teams will 'rise up' when they play us and this is where it will be interesting to see how well our guys stand up to this added pressure.

Hopefully, they have learned from the North Dakota game and get mentally tougher because they are going to need to more than ever.

Well the last 2 years when the Shox wasn't the "marked" team wasn't so fun. So let try seeing actually winning and being a team everybody shoots for is any fun.

Last time I remember something like this (getting votes that frankly we do not deserve) was in the 80s and Coach Fogler took his team and was dismantled by Miami if memory serves me correctly.

Unless we are satisfied with having one successful, under-the-radar season out of every four or five, WSU teams will have to learn to wear the target and still win. Might as well start now. I like this team's make-up with Hannah at the helm and believe that the timing is right. Clevin won't be here next season and some fire is needed to complete the refining.
