  • tickets for drake question....

...i've got about 10 relatives coming at the new years who have indicated a great interest in seeing the shocks play...what's the gut about available seats?

They've been giving out an extra guest ticket to all of the students for the games over the break, so it may actually end up being harder than normal to get GA tickets. If you know any students, you might ask them for their extras.

I'd guess it at about 150 - 200 season tickets that aren't sold. That seems to be a decent guess of the upper reaches that don't appear to have regular butts in them.

GA is probably the way to go. I doubt DU will be a student sellout and tickets should be available at the game if you get there around 5:45 or 6. I went the GA route all of last season and only found one time (SIU) that GA was sold out when I got to CKA, generally around 6.

Around 6, you should have no trouble getting 10 or so seats all together in a pretty decent area. If you sit anywhere above the concourse entrance in GA, you're usually leaving enough room for the rabble-rousing students who want to be close.
The future's so bright - I gotta wear shades.

New Year's and Drake is not a lethal combo for a run on tickets.

Follow Aargh's suggestions and you will be fine.

You might call the ticket office on Monday and check availability. Then I would go to the ticket office asap.

Ten in a group is not likely, but I am pretty sure you will get seats.

I saw on bj board cu fans in Wichita and those traveling from Omaha have already been purchasing available tickets (specially on ticket market place.)

You mean there isn't a sock hop after the game to welcome in the new year?
