  • Derrick Roland- Texas A&M

Really gruesome injury. Dont know how those guys could continue on after hearing/seeing that.

Texas A&M senior Derrick Roland had surgery early Wednesday, hours after the sound of two bones snapping in his right leg echoed throughout a horrified Washington Huskies' arena and left several teammates in tears.

I wonder if his bones were somehow weakened during that "flippin" New Mexico game.

This player's involvement in his douchey coach's comments are nonexistent. You are a Sh*theel ISASO and always have been.

Saddened to see the young man's final season come to such a tragic end. He has nothing to say about what spews from his coaches mouth while his coach is proving himself to be a two-faced hypocrite.

Sad to hear, you never want to see things like this happen. Makes you cringe to read it. Hope he makes a enough of a recovery to play some pro ball somewhere.

fox sports showed a replay of the game last night. the play continued down the court when he broke his leg. You could see the crowd already covering there faces and the A&M players had tears in there eyes before the play was blown dead. Thankfully they didnt show any replays of the injury. They cut to a commercial right away.

ISASO has as much compassion for this guy as any of you other posters do. Cut the guy some slack. He posted nothing that indicated in any way that he doesn't show compassion for this young man.

We all agree......what happened to the player has nothing to do with our ex-coach and his mouth.

                  Consider this analogy:
As a Dallas Cowboy fan, I hated Joe Theisman and ANYTHING Washington Redskins......but when he went down with that ugly broken leg (which unfortunately we've all seen too many times), I winced as much as anyone else did (still do even when I think of it). But Theisman moved on with his life, and went back to hating the Redskins.
