Polls aren't based on head-to-head meetings. They are simply a compiled list of Top 25 polls submitted in by people, added together, and this creates the *universal* poll.
When No.1 Duke lost to unranked Florida State a couple years ago, Florida State doesn't become the No.1 ranked team.. :lol:Deuces Valley.
... No really, deuces.

A drop from #16 to #23 (7) in TT's ranking is fairly significant. I would think that playing on the road against a good team and only losing by 2 pts would have yielded a smaller drop in the poll - say 3-4 spots. It's as though the polsters perceive this as a bad loss for them, which IMHO it isn't.

I would submit that it's a fairly good thing for TT that they didn't get completely dropped from the top 25.

My guess, in your narrowmindedness, WSU will be a bad loss to whomever they beat.....
It's people like you that can never enjoy things for what they are......you always have to see what you perceive they aren't.
Hopefully more people are enjoying the ride and looking forward to the next game, no matter who it is and when it is.
We can talk and speculate all we want, and that's fine, but all that really matters is beating North Dakota State in about 4 hours.

WSU votes came from the following:
Tampa Tribune - 24th
Hawke Eye, Burlington IA - 22nd
Time Union, Albany NY - 24th
Winston-Salem NC - 24th
Columbina, SC - 25th
Roanoke, VA - 18th
(1 other I missed)
Interestingly Jeffrey Martin of the Houston Chronicle gave K-State a nice homer vote of ranking them 9th in the nation.

It is interesting that the only vote we got from this region is the Hawk Eye in Burlington, IA.
