Probably one of those stats nobody keeps track of.
Probably not, but it is difficult to imagine a sequence of events where more points could be scored in less time.
TTU was able to foul quickly with little or no time elapsing. They were also able to get down court and get the ball in the hands of the shooters almost immediately and get their shots off.
It was incredible - it's just a darn good thing our free throwing was up to the task.

I think it was 1 minute 5 seconds for the 28 points. We made two free throws at this mark. TT made a 3 with 55 seconds left.
It's one hell of a lot of points for about a minute. It took 20 minutes for the teams to score 56 points the first half.
50% of the points scored in the first half in 5% of the time.
At 1:05, the score was 74-66 and remained so until 0:55 when Singletary made the three to make the score 74-69. So at 0:56, there had been 74+66=140 sacored. The final 85+83=168. 168-140=28.
"I not sure that I've ever been around a more competitive player or young man than Fred VanVleet. I like to win more than 99.9% of the people in this world, but he may top me." -- Gregg Marshall 12/23/13 :peaceful:
--------------------------------------- Remember when Nancy Pelosi said about Obamacare: "We have to pass it, to find out what's in it".
A physician called into a radio show and said: "That's the definition of a stool sample."
The subject of my comment was as related to when the officials blow the whistles and when they do not. In tight end of game situations we've all seen them blown quickly and we've seen felonious assaults. The whistles in the closing minutes of the Shocks-Tech game were pretty quick rather prudent. Hence my comment, they do give them every opportunity to come back.
