In case they don't post a link any time soon, here are some highlights.

Bruce and Coach Marshall talked about the game last night. Bruce said the Shockers had a lot of resiliency. Coach Marshall said he thinks Texas Tech will win a lot of basketball games and is resilient, too. We just made one more play and hit our free throws.

He said he was proud of the effort, the crowd, and the big shots. He said it's a lot of fun to be a part of this basketball team.

Bruce asked him what he learned about this basketball team. Coach Marshall said he learned we can give up 62 points in the second half and still win. He said that's never happen in his tenure as a coach or an assistant coach. He said we have so many guys that can make plays, big time shots, and have so many weapons, inside and out.

After Garrett's tip-in, he said we really have a good chance to win, that it gave us a good cushion. He said he didn't know how high up Garrett was, but he was way up there in his eyes.

He talked about how we'll now be perceived by the basketball world that doesn't follow Wichita State. He said he thinks this will open some eyes and thinks we will get some votes.

He said no matter who we play, we have a chance to win.

To add a bit to this ...

Haertl interviewed Marshall on Saturday night after the game at the arena. Coach was going off memory, emotion and a stat sheet to evaluate the Shocks performance.

I'm sure after watching some game tape he will have some idea why 62 points were given up and there will be some defensive adjustments made. Also, several guys (Murray, Blair, Kyles and Ellis) probably weren't as productive on offense as they can be. The Shocks can be so MUCH BETTER.
