      A few things to work on:
      * committed 16 turnovers
      * allowed 70% shooting in 2nd half -- 62 points
      * sluggish offensive start of the game

              This is completely off topic, but not worth it's own thread. If anybody watched the Butler game today, they heard this story about Al McGuire, as told by Musberger:

              Coach McGuire was famous for (1) letting his assistant coach run practices, and (2) not doing a whole lot of scouting. Back in the 70s, he took his Marquette club on the road to play UMass somewhere back east.

              As the story goes, they start playing the game and UMass is kicking the crap out of Marquette. Coach McGuire calls a timeout, gathers his team at the free throw line, looks at them, and says

              "who's this @#$%^&@#$%er they keep calling 'The Doctor'?!?!?!"

              It even got a laugh out of the General.

              As far as Tyrone's question...

              Clevin!!!

                • Hannah is great, but imagine if he had the pattented jab step, rubber neck juke, explosive cross-over dribble that I invented back in the early 70's, which leaves a defender with a soiled panty and a severely sprained ankle.
                  I am waiting for a call from HCGM if he wants my assistance.

                      • Great game for the Shox. We did what we had to do, and it's just another learning experience to put in the experience bank.

                        NO LET DOWN ON MONDAY. We need to play as hard as ever.

                        It's a great day to be a Shocker, but isn't it always?

                          • David Kyles continues to be a guy who is dependable. He has the best assist to turnover ratio in the valley according to HCGM and he seems to me like a glue guy. He does alot of things well.
