  • Home Winning Streak Question

I believe we discussed this once but if so I can't remember the answer. RedRaiders.com said we have a 15 home game winning streak. Is that an error or does the Stanford game not officially count?

If you DON'T count the Stanford loss, it's 15. If you do, it's 6.

Why would Buffalo count, but not Stanford?

Remember when Nancy Pelosi said about Obamacare:
"We have to pass it, to find out what's in it".

A physician called into a radio show and said:
"That's the definition of a stool sample."

Good point. 14 wins not counting either of those, but it's really all moot as the info is flawed. A win is a win and a loss is a loss.

I still think we could go undefeated at home this year. Call me crazy, but it is possible.

Notice I said COULD be undefeated at home. It is possible. With our home crowd and the higher skill level this year, it's not that 'crazy'.

...overly optimistic maybe, but I guess I can live with that.

Get past TT and I think we go undefeated at home.

We like to cut down nets and get sized for championship rings.

Even in our great Sweet 16 year we managed to lose a couple at home.

When was the last time we did go undefeated at home? 1983?

I meant to say "can go undefeated", but I didn't , so I'll stick with what I said.

Look at the schedule. Who do you see there that you honestly think can beat WSU at CKA.

Going undefeated at home is quite an accomplishment and it's been a long time. I certainly remember an undefeated home record, but this is the year for it. WSU has a good enough team and a weak enough schedule to pull it off.

I agree--no one is on our schedule that we can't beat on any given night. It won't be easy, but far from impossible. If I'm wrong, then I'm wrong, but I'll stick to my words as well.

Sure it can be done, but even our "best" teams have had problems doing that. There's always that game you aren't supposed to lose and there's UNI that always seems to be a problem with us here.

I'd be shocked if we did it.
