I was returning from Phoenix on a Friday and had a connection in Denver. My flight from Phoenix was late arriving and I ran like hell to catch my flight to ICT. I barely missed it. It was the last flight permitted that day because of a massive snow storm.

All flights were cancelled for the weekend as snow continued to fall.

There was a big rodeo in Denver and all the rooms were booked up for the weekend.

I slept on the Stapleton floor for an entire weekend. The airport ran out of food. Folks were tired, hungry, angry and in a pretty foul mood.
