Yeah, maybe the biggest game in a few years, but save the rushing the court for the end of the season when the Shocks cut down the nets for the conference championship.

Apparently this forum is full of old ass hags who never went to college or something. Do you guys just want me to sit on my hands, twiddle my thumbs, what you want me to do?? I can't say suck, I can't think it would be fun to rush the floor, I can't get on a message board and have it act like a message board instead I have to type this like a damn paper. Yea maybe saying someone sucks really does nothing, maybe rushing the court againt the 16th ranked team in the country wouldn't be as cool to you guys as it would to me. If we win by buzzer-beater you have my support to rush the court with your buddies. Just make sure you don't do it by yourself or you will probably get in trouble. :) Get a good group with you and the rest will follow. You only live once. Those on here that are trying to make you do the "dignified" thing have apparently forgotten what it means to be an 18 year old college student. Some students go their whole college careers without having a reason (or opportunity) to rush the court. I'm thinking we aren't going to have very many more ranked BCS teams come into our building in the near future.

Remember, only rush if it is a dramatic win. If we win easily there is no need to show them we care.

Now we're talking. As a fellow student, I would love to rush the floor too, and when the time is right, Security and the fuzz might let us get away with it. Here's hoping that day comes.

Thanks for touching up the grammar as well. We're not looking for MLA Standards here; all we want are posts that are readable, and capitalization and punctuation go a long way towards that goal.

Speaking of school spirit, it's been brought up in other threads that we need to get more creative on cheers. You seem like the reasonably well-connected sort. Any ideas on new cheers or ways to get the rest of the slushbuckets in the student section on the same page?

I think the best way to get the whole student section going on the same page is to get a little group to start it. I mean I think there are some students there just for a social hour with a little basketball in between and could really care less if its a win or a loss. But from my experience I think that the students are just looking for a leader to start the chant and they will follow.

New chants.... hmmm... that's a tough one... I am not too creative when it comes to making up some chants, I just yell whatever is on my mind at the moment
