I've made it from my office in my house, to my seat, with a drink, in less than 6 minutes, but I had to leave early and miss the wait into the parking lot.

Essentially, I can listen to IRONWU at home and not miss tipoff.

Edit: FYI, I am not a huge fan of local speed limits.

I can get there in 10 hours and 52 minutes, if I don't stop and use the restroom.

My trip history is as follows: 10-15 minutes 1995-2001, 70 minutes from 2002-2005; 120-ish 2006 - 2008; 25-30 minutes 2008 to present. I do not miss the 70 or 120 minute trips to each game but they were worth every minute. We only missed 1 game due to ice when I was 2 hours away.

I've heard of a couple road tripping from Hays for each home game. Die hard Shocker fans and certainly worthy of recognition from the Athletics office.

My commute is 5 minutes from my living room to computer room while I boot up Shockervision. Other than that, it's a 10 hr drive to maybe 2-3 games per year plus a flight to St. Louis in March.

I know for a fact that 4 of us have not missed a home game since 1999 and we come from Hutch every time! I'll be missing my first home game at the end of the season for a concert in KC that was rescheduled, Damn Billy Joel and Elton John!

For the sake of the people in your row, please make the necessary pit-stop(s).

Don't worry too much about it. Just do all you can do and let the rough end drag.

Sell your tix, and pick up a pair for the concert at IBA.

Looks like BSCat was right in thinking all Shocker fans live within 15 minutes of Koch.

Don't I wish I lived within 15 minutes of Koch... It would make getting to early morning classes a LOT easier...
