Pretty sure it was not a WSU alum who composed this, but it's fairly hilarious nonetheless:

An irrelevant university in the middle of farm country.

The keggers usually involve sheep.
Belt buckles and cowboy hats are the norm.
The sports teams have never done anything worthy of note.
KSU sports are irrelevant.
A degree from KSU is best used as toilet paper.
Just another notch on my list of reasons I hate K-State.
I find it hilarious they talk about 'true' WSU fans, like there are none. I think they forget how awful their football team used to be, and how no one attended a game. Then they get some success, and all of a sudden people start coming out of the wood work, like they'd been these huge football fans for decades.

How quickly they forget.
Oh, they've already forgotten. They didn't have a single football game this season that was even close to capacity. Their attendance is back to being dead last in the B12, save for Baylor which happens to be a mid-major parading about as a wannabe BCS member, which, come to think of it also holds true for the grapes.
50 percent of WSU students dont leave wichita for the holidays. Maybe 50-percent of the 8 percent of overall students that live in the dorms.
Holidays.
In a family tradition that's lasted for centuries, early on Christmas morning, courtmaster3104 walks across his family's farmland, boots leaving short trails in the snow, into the barn that was built by his great-great-grandfather, repainted red every November in anticipation of the occasion, and blows a goat.
Again, congrats to KSU on their #17 ranking this week. It's their highest since the 1987-88 season. I wonder how far back you have to go before you find them at #8 or better? Another 20 years or MORE?
Badda-Bing!!! :posterwu:
Wasn't that the year WSU started out 9-0 but ended up missing the postseason entirely? Badda bing indeed...
Out of nearly 15,000 students enrolled for the Fall 2009 semester, 7,000 students are from outside Sedgwick County. WSU has students matriculating from nearly every state in the U.S. and from every corner of Kansas. Wichita State also has 1,375 international students from 110 different countries.

And how would you know, exactly?
I have personal context- in my time while a student at the BSB at WSU, somewhere around 50% of my fellow students were not originally from the Wichita area.
What's your context?
Nice. He said 50 percent of WSU students. Out of 14,000 or so students. 1,131 are foreign, most of which don't leave for the holidays. I lived in Wheatshocker, I know this. Out of the remaining 12,000+ half of those students are from the immediate Wichita area. They can still attend games. Out of the 6,000 or so remaining, around 4,000 of those are non traditional students (WSU's average student age is somewhere around 26) who probably dont attend games anyway. What exactly are you arguing?

Wow, Indy going this route? Really?
I think you missed the point entirely. Everybody knows that we bottomed out and laid a turd the rest of the year. The point was that little ol' WSU managed to "fool" sports writers, media members, and coaches a like to have them as the No.8 team in the country a short 3 years ago. When was the last time mighty Big 12 member KSU reached that eclipse?
Deuces Valley.
... No really, deuces.

How did you find this site anyways? A fellow KSU fan mentioned it?
