    matter of fact, I did.

I've even done it for a baseball game. The next day was no fun at work.

I love how every KSU fan that comes out from behind their rock with every attendance excuse in the book gets squashed in about 2.2 milliseconds.
          Hilarious!

What happens to the tens of thousands of football fans come basketball season?

I mean, if distance is such an issue, they must all live right around Manhattan, right?
The truth will set you free. But first, it will piss you off.

You guys are funny. Nobody has been squashed. KSU students reach into their pockets and pay for BBall tickets, WSU students get them as part of their mandatory fees. Yet KSU student section is way better than WSU. KSU students go home for Christmas break. WSU students are home. (except those from the middle east)

A few WSU fans apparantly drive into town. The majority of KSU fans make long trips for each game.

Football is a 6 game commitment. Basketball is 17 games. But do WSU fans want to talk about maintaining football? Afterall, "fan apathy" is what killed WSU football.

Again, congrats to KSU on their #17 ranking this week. It's their highest since the 1987-88 season. I wonder how far back you have to go before you find them at #8 or better? Another 20 years or MORE?

Shockansas, your point is not valid at all. The KSU student section takes up half of the bram. of couse ksu is going to make the students pay for those tickets! They have to make money some how. I mean, the size of the KSU student section obviously makes it louder than WSU's.. But if WSU filled half of CKA with students, wow, i'm not even sure if that would be safe.
                    it's up in the air

You really need to get out more, tool.

There are loads of WSU students who go home for the holidays- "home" not being the Wichita area. I'd put the proportion somewhere around 50%, at least when I was studying there. My wife drove home 400 miles, while as a student at WSU.

Also, K-Suck has more total international students than WSU could even think of having. Have you ever actually been a student at Tractor Tech? Doesn't sound like it.

And please explain your logic - or lack thereof - to K-Suck students "reaching into their pockets" for tickets, and WSU students paying via a fairly steep activity fee. An expense is an expense, but I'm afraid that talk might be too advanced for you, considering the lackluster b-school you have up there at the North 40.

If we on SN have the need for advice concerning the correct combine head for soybean, or how to confirm the pregnancy of a dairy cow through manual inspection via the rectum, we'll give a call sweetie. Otherwise, why don't you hop back in your flatbed F150 and take a long walk off a short plank.

50 percent of WSU students dont leave wichita for the holidays. Maybe 50-percent of the 8 percent of overall students that live in the dorms.

You think 50 percent of the KSU students will be getting tractors for Christmas?

                              Holidays.

In a family tradition that's lasted for centuries, early on Christmas morning, courtmaster3104 walks across his family's farmland, boots leaving short trails in the snow, into the barn that was built by his great-great-grandfather, repainted red every November in anticipation of the occasion, and blows a goat.

                              I have proof.

And how would you know, exactly?

I have personal context- in my time while a student at the BSB at WSU, somewhere around 50% of my fellow students were not originally from the Wichita area.

                                What's your context?
