  • KU '08 National Championship Tarnished

Yeah, it's only indirectly, but they should have to replay the game against a school that plays eligible players. Apparently that wasn't the case with Memphis. :D

The University of Memphis isn't backing down in its appeal of the NCAA order to vacate the 2007-08 men's basketball season, even though the Committee on Infraction's response has fans worried about even worse punishment.

The NCAA fined them $530K for using an illegal player. Getting to the NCAA finals probably paid Memphis at least $2 mill (I'm just guessing).

Congratulations, you have just completed the curriculum of Cheating 101: Cheating For Fun and Profit.
The future's so bright - I gotta wear shades.
We like to cut down nets and get sized for championship rings.

Another example of the NCAA getting stupid power hungry.

This is the dumbest thread I've seen on this site in many years. What about this relates to WSU men's BB other than to show your p***s envy for another program?

I don't see anything in this thread that demonstrates any kind of envy. It is an satirical view of Memphis's problems messing with the championship game. To me it is more and indictment of John Calipari than anything else. Despite many SN posters not liking KU, I think most respect Bill Self and the teams he has built there.

Believe me, there are MANY threads that are far dumber than this one....

I object. I've started many far dumber threads than this.
