I think, at least from where I sit, that a big part of the reaction had to do with Gregg's epileptic fit he threw in support of the save.

The guy SO belongs at Wichita State it isn't funny. We were MADE for him, and he for us.

Actually Doc, I wasn't watching Gregg at that moment. I was watching Stutz and our whole section erupted and stood as one at Stutz's effort.

Gregg certainly has some "unusual" hand signals for plays. One looks like a chiken dance, but hey, if it works, more power to him.

Lately, I have been seeing a different side of Garrett, which I have not seen before.

He has been showing a nasty side, when he disagrees with the refs or an opposing player.

Last night, he barked at a ref on two occasions. I was surprised and pleased.

This is the first game I've been able to attend this year, and I was really impressed with the crowd's reaction to Stutz's blind overhead save, followed by his taking it strong to the rack and getting fouled. The whole crowd erupted and he got a standing O. Kudos to the crowd!

That kid has heart. It wasn't pretty, but it was a GREAT play!

I too was impressed with the crowd there. It surprised me that so many people took notice of such a good hustle play.
