I look for us to beat TCU by double digits. Texas Tech beat TCU by 10 at TCU, so I think we can do at least that good playing at home.

    WSU 78
    TCU 56

      11 point favorites? That's insane.

It should be at least 15 j/k.

I don't know if I would predict an 11 point win and I drink a lot of the Kool Aid.

Oh, well, I guess I've already stepped in it.

      Shocks - 71
      Tasered Toads - 54

Things are looking up. Of our two resident "realists", one predicts a win and the other offers no prediction. Gotta go with Fever on this one, he's not been wrong yet this year.

Shox equal TT total 80 to TCU's 64.

Our first test at home against someone that absolutely can hurt us IF we give them the opportunity.

I really have no gauge on what's going to happen, BUT it seems that this team has many reasons to be full of themselves.....and that scares me.

Return to earth or good test of our mettle? We'll find out in about 13 hours.

I'm expecting a win in this match-up. I think Marshall will have no problem keeping his team focused on this game, given the outcome of last years game. They didn't seem to have a problem at UMKC with big games coming up. Just throwing numbers out I'm going with 72-56.

For us out-of-towners, does anyone know if the game tonight is available on the internet anywhere? I checked the Channelsurfing listings, and it looks like the Shocks are not on there. Actually, can anyone explain when one is likely to find the Shocks on that site and when not?

I predict that our double digit streak will continue. I forsee a final of 70-59. I think it will be a fairly close game ranging from a 5 to 10 point lead in the second half most of the way. We will hit our free throws down the stretch and push the lead to 11. Just my thought.

I just checked TCU's stats. They are not deep. They play 8 guys 10 or more minutes, but # 7 and #8 don't contribute a lot.

WSU's physical play and pressure D could cause serious problems.

Perhaps that played a roll in them losing steam against Tech?

Alot of their stats are pretty similar to ours (I'm just gonna round the numbers up/down):

                              TCU - 73ppg
                              WSU - 74ppg

                              TCU - 44% FG
                              WSU - 46% FG

                              TCU - 35% 3pt
                              WSU - 35% 3pt

                              TCU - 35 Rpg
                              WSU 38 Rpg

                              TCU - 15 Apg
                              WSU - 16 Apg

                              TCU - 15 TOpg
                              WSU - 13 TOpg

TCU seems to be a team that likes the 3pt shot even though they don't always light it up. In 9 games they have taken 217 3pt shots. In comparison WSU has taken 152 3pt shots.

MTXE is not a "realist". To think so would be a huge insult to both Fever and KC_Shox.
