  • Amazing Balance

JT's performance the other night vs. UMKC brought his avg. up to just over double figures, joining Toure as the only two Shockers averaging in double figure points. Garrett is at 9.6, and Clevin averages 8.3 ppg even after only 4 points vs. UMKC.

There are at least 5-6 who average over 6-7 points per game. Plus the minutes are being distributed well, I believe that 10 Shockers are averaging over 10 mpg.

I'm enjoying this, it's got to make the job of opposing scouts much tougher when they try to build a game plan for us.

    Not sure on this!
Watching WSU tapes, a smart coach can see CH's effect on the team. He then just assigns his best defender to disrupt CH and thing may not look good for WSU. :(

Great...put the best on Hannah...then toure will have a big night. The great thing about this team is there are a ton of players that can hurt you on any given night. Unfortunatly I tihnk our biggest offensive struggles come against the zone.

In the last 6 games we have had 6 different players lead us in scoring. We have had 4 differnt players lead us in rebounding. If you go back to the begining of the year we have 7 different scoring leaders and 5 different rebound leaders.

You could say that disrupting the PG would be a good thing no matter the team. However, I bet the 'word on the street' is that Toure is the man to stop, with Durley being 2nd.

I'm very excited by the bodies I see on the court this year. We also have done a good job dispatching the opponents we have faced so far. Challenges are on the horizon though. Our players will be tested mentally. Will they be able to adapt in-game? Stay tuned!

We actually have 10 guys playing between 10 and 30 minutes.

7 guys averaging over 6.9 ppg and 9 over 3.9.

6 players have over 3 rebounds a game and 8 are greater than 2 rpg.

7 leading scorers in 9 games and 8 that have scored in double figures.

Blair, Stutz, and Kyles are the best thing about this team. There are plenty of PF and C that CAN play with Durley and Ellis, but brining Stutz and Blair off the bench flat wares people down. Kyles is not a loss of talent off the bench either!

              Love this team!
