FWIW, the Spangles commercials done by Turgeon were fundraisers for the men's basketball program. People bid at the Golf Auction on the right to "star" in the commercial along with Mark.

I would guess the program raised somewhere in the neighborhood of 25,000 from the ads. Turgeon received nothing personally.

Just a guess, but if Marshall thinks he can raise 8 or 10 grand for the program by doing a goofy commercial, he probably will.
