Yes they did Aargh.....yes they did. It has not been forgotten, but again, I could say that about last year.

I am kinda in your camp and I hardly ever predict outcomes.

If we can hit the 3 ball, we will win nicely.

I look forward to hearing about the 1-3-1 defending against the fast break.

Some have said the 1-3-1 is as impenetrable as the Maginot Line. I hope so.

1-3-1 is hard defense to play against....Diagonal passing lanes will be there but IF ran correctly and with good athletes it can be one tough defense to penetrate on and score on.
The mountains are calling, and I must go.

Please dont compare the Shocks with the Maginot line. The "unbreakable" Maginot was captured twice including once by sheer stupidity! ;-)

General Martin, commander of the IX Corps, was ordered to advance forward from the Maginot line against a German division, and thus locked the concrete bunkers and left the keys with a colleague. While his colleague's unit was ordered south to reinforce French cities, Martin was forced to retreat from his unsuccessful attack and found himself pursued by a German tank division, and locked out of his own fortifications. He was forced to employ French engineers and sappers to break into the bunkers, which were subsequently overrun by the Germans.

I know it was HS but we used to tear apart the 1-3-1. Although I know it's better played at the college level

Shox will score at least 70. The big questions are how much more, and how good will the defense be?

                  Shox 74
                  Roos 49

                  Yeah. THAT good.

The 1-3-1 is nothing more than a gimmick defense. While it can be used effectively in a trapping situation, its function as a primary defense is an exercise in futility.

Our inability to overcome the defense is purely due to execution and not preparation.

We've got some shooters perimeter shooters this time around, and the 1-3-1 will not be able to handle that.

You better believe we win this one. I"m not even considering anything less--no "if we don't" statements because we WILL. Our defense will humble them and make them wish they'd never disrespected the WU!

                        72-58 Shockers.

The thing I really like about this team is that we have a number of players who have the both the desire and ability to get hot at different times and to take over the game offensively.

I have a feeling that multiple players will rise to the occasion this time.

                          Shocks by 17.

I'm spending the day in KC with my daughter and doing dinner downtown with her and family as it is HER BIRTHDAY!

So I encourage y'all to come find her and tell her happy birthday. It will make her day as the Shox win 173 to 4.
