A good win considering it's a BCS team that was 5-1 with wins over USC and TCU. Only loss to St. Louis.

As bad as CU is right now they still beat a middle of the pack Nebraska team.

      Creighton wins 67-61.

Huge game for Kenny Lawson with 25 points and 10 rebounds.

Good win for the MVC. Bad loss for the Big XII.

And look how they did it.

        1-10 3FG.

NU sent them to the FT line 32 times, with CU making 26 of them. (NU was 9-14.)

CU shot 43.5% and NU shot 50% from the field.

I didn't watch the game, but from those numbers I'm not impressed in the slightest with that win.

Don't know how impressed anyone is with Creighton. I only saw them against Michigan. I think they put a lot of energy into that game, probably not much energy left for X and Iona in successive days.

I was impressed with Nebraska last Sunday when they played USC. So based on what I've seen, this would have to be a very good win for CU and the Valley today.

I'll enjoy it even more when we beat Creighton. :D

Don't agree that it was a bad loss for the Big 12. Neb. went on the road to an upper division MVC. Not so bad. Let's all change this mindset.

That win did raise Creighton's RPI to around 220. Whether or not it is good or bad loss for the Big 12 will depend on how Creighton does this year. But at THIS POINT in time it was not a good loss. In fact, RealTime RPI has tagged it a ?? loss with one ? = a bad loss.

Any win by an MVC team over a BSC school is a good win as Nebraska's RPI will automatically go up by playing the likes of KU (twice) and Texas and other high RPI teams from the Big XII. In addition, a good record by the MVC against the BCS schools just adds a little more pizazz to the resume when the NCAA selction committee meets. Maybe that isn't the way it should be, but that's the way it is.

Nebraska played horrible. They are not a good team. sCUm didn't impress my eyes with this ugly win.

They are still a team with a lot of question marks.
                  Deuces Valley.
                  ... No really, deuces.

Well especially when everyone on blogs just goes right along with it (i.e. concedes that it is such a bad loss) and especially if our own fans like yourself are so willing to go along with it. I think Creighton is going to end up with a considerably better season than Nebraska, so I don't see how when a worse team loses to a better team it is considered a bad loss. 8)

Why RealTime RPI considers it a double bad loss I assume has to do with Creighton's current high RPI. If CU has a very good year as you suggest than yes, that loss won't be considered a bad loss for Nebraska. Right now though that is the way at least one RPI site sees it. Whether I go along with that or not is not likely to change anything is it?

CU may end up really good. They have talent. Nebraska is not good. It would have been a great win for NU. Getting outrebounded by CU is a joke. The Jays won't do that to us, I promise you.

Please, please, please tell me CU shoots 10% from 3 and turns the ball over 15+ times against us.......

CU did tear it up from the line hitting 26 of 32. The Shocks have been a little foul prone so far this year. Hopefully, we get a reasonable whistle when we play in Omaha (or even in Wichita). They outscored NU by 17 points at the line. That's tough to overcome. NU was 4-18 from behind the arc so neither team exactly lit it up from the perimeter.

If Kenny Lawson has 25 against our D, then he is the league MVP.

 ...I don't see that happening either.

72-you've convinced me: whether you agree with anything or not is not going to make any difference.
