Perfectly normal. The RS can be pulled at any time if needed. As long as they're in the book they can still play

I remember in MVC tournament in STL in 2007 when Turgeon almost pulled the redshirt of Durley. Turgeon told Durley to pull his warmup top off and the assistants were telling Turgeon - "NO!!!!!". Luckily it more rational response occurred.

I think that was actually Chris Brown. I remember seeing Brown get up and thinking, "what the hell is Turgeon thinking".

They should actually wear a red shirt to clear up the confusion. Or maybe, a red cape.

We will be 12 deep next year. It's going to be scary.

It was Durley.... Chris Brown played that year (very little due to bad back).

Very Scary, Richardson is a player and is redshirting because we needed point guards, and Hamilton is a physical specimen and will learn a ton on his year off going against Blair, ellis, Durley and Stutz. Good stuff

jerome is supposedly (according to mike kennedy) an excellent student. which is pretty awesome.

i also recently found out that jerome might have the greatest 'ups' on the team. outstanding vertical.
i hear he has "Amare'-like ups" which is ironic.. cause he kinda looks like Amare' as well.

on the negative.. im pretty sure hes listed at 6'7" he's definitely not that. he might be 6'6". hes like 3/4th inch taller than derek brown.

seeing JT and him next to one another you can really tell the height difference.

im excited for his future though. and the future of our program!

Well, that's what they told the public...

I'm not sayin' Chris didn't have back issues, but they made it seem like it was career ending.

His stats at Central Arkansas reveal more reasons... he and Arbry Butler both.

Chris Brown was reported as having back problems at CentArk as well as at WSU. Brown isn't on the roster this year and I think this would have been his Sr. year.

His back problems may have been career ending.

It would be cool if we could be in a solid position to be able to redshirt a player or two every Season. PJ reshirted and it sure payed off for both him and our Program. Our two redshirts this year were much better off getting a year to better prepare for their future to improve their skills, to adapt to our System, and to help our Program much more.
Shocker basketball will forever be my favorite team in all of sports.
