  • KU tampering?

Did I hear mention of KU tampering with Ehimeh at Three Rivers this past summer? And did I actually hear Bruce say it was fine because EO hadn't actually signed with a team yet?

And did I actually hear Bob say that KU wouldn't want EO anyway? Again, not sure if this happened or not but it smells if it did.

Also, to Bob, KU may not recruit EO to help their program but may recruit him to hurt ours. It helps to be the big program in the state. If keeping a certain recruit away from WSU will keep them in the cellar then why not. This has happened before. Also, having a player like EO may entice another local recruit to attend WSU rather than traveling North a couple of hours.

    Go Shocks!

That's what Bruce said, and of course, he is right. EO was a free agent till a couple weeks ago.

Bruce said this on Sports Daily today? Interesting.

      I believe that's Premium information.

I would expect this from Roy boy, but don't see Self as this kind of guy, at least for the reason to simply keep us from getting him.

But, I wouldn't need much convincing to see it otherwise, considering that we are talking about KU here.

I can't get upset even if they did talk or tried to talk to him. We also talk to recruits who have given a verbal. I image about everybody does.

When a team has only 15 roster spots, they aren't going to spend one just to spite a nearby team when a national championship is their yearly goal.

I'm flattered that KU was apparently after one of our recruits.

I just hope they don't go crying to the NCAA because a young man kept his word and followed through on his decision.

So, a recruit chose us over mighty KU! HELL HAS FROZEN OVER!!! :yahoo: I actually heard about this over the summer, but didn't believe it was true. Funny and sad at the same time.

                            Choosing WSU over KU, really?

Apparently EO has not been educated by each and every far more intelligent KU basketball fan.

I am sure William Self pulled all coaches from recruiting trips to three rivers upon word of his irrationality. Obviously not Hawk material.

It wouldn't surprise me if Sweet Lew would send a letter to the Kansas Board of Regents informing them that he has shut down the WSU basketball program.

Worst part is, they would believe him.
