The attendence was high that game not because of Wichita State. UNO played right after our game. They were excited to see "Omaha's team".

Wow you are right, this proves it. Wichita is our biggest rival. Not SIU or Nebraska anymore. Your success against us recently has caused the people of Omaha to switch rivals. By the way, does anyone have Altman's record against Wichita in front of them?? The reason SIU is and has been our rival is because both our programs have been on top of the conference consistently over the past decade. There is also a mutual respect between our teams. The only reason why Creighton fans would get up more for a Wichita game than any other game is because everyone in Omaha thinks your coach is a dbag.

Any team that can shoot the 3 like Creighton is capable of is going to be dangerous every time they step out on the court (see Drake).

We struggle defending the 3 so it will be interesting to see which "system" wins out.

Five games is probably not a trend yet but some conclusions can start to be drawn about bjay 3-ball prowess, especially when you remove Wragge from the numbers. The rest of the team at this point is shooting a cool 29%! :roll:

Defensively may be an even bigger issue for cu, in their three losses to teams that will all most likely be bubble competition that cu will be in line behind the bjays have given up an average 84-pts per game. :shock:

No automatic W's ahead for jays either with NU at home and GMU on the road.

After umteen losses in a row, I don't see us winning in Omaha either....but as long as your team plays as soft as they've shown so far, you're going to be fodder for any decent, tough and reasonably talented team.

But you better pray you beat WSU in Omaha....Gregg's teams always are at their best with a little swagger, and if we win in the Q I can promise you the swagger will be there and we'll be tough to beat, anywhere.
