I think you guys are tremendously overreacting. I hate to tell you this but when KU plays the Monticellos of the world there are a great number of tickets that go unused. They just have a bigger fieldhouse. Don't make a problem where there aint one. We have excellent fan support.Comment

Some of us who drive 2 hours and have four tickets also work for a living and can only wish we could go. I know I never order off of market place. I do not think I should have to pay that extra $5. charge plus other fees. I would rather the season ticket holders post there unused on Craigslist so I can order them there. If they want to fill the house sell them at a discount so I can bring the 4 kids the neighbor kids and my wife. Even though that said, I normally just get a GA cause I can get to the games early enough that I will sit closer to the action than those tickets get me anyway.im4wsu wrote:

The thing is, with Craigslist, you won't have the tickets waiting for you at the ticket window. You'd have to actually get the physical tickets from the season ticket holder, and as noted, if they are a good distance from the ICT, that could be difficult.
The WSU athletic department has a good service allowing season ticket holders to make their tickets available to the public on a game by game basis. If all the GA tickets are gone (as they should be during conference play), this is a reasonable option.You miss 100% of the shots you don't take....

Gee, what's the problem? I just clicked on the Marketplace link and it said there were 32 seats available for a Division II team -- against whom the Shocks could have played an exhibition -- in which case I certainly hope this overwrought complaint would not be occurring. Yes, this game counts, but it's still basically Newman from Monticello, Arkansas.
Too many people sit around looking for stuff to worry about. If the number on Marketplace reaches 3200 sometime, shock02, go ahead and fire away. But until then, give it (and us, and yourself) a rest.Comment
