  • Tad Boyle & NCU

This may be a break-out year for Coach Boyle and NCU. They won their first two games in Hawaii - 101-73 over McNeese St. and 73-51 over Southern Utah. They play Hawaii tonight.

The roster has 7 freshman and 1 redshirt freshman listed. They've also gotten a verbal from a Texas PG that has an 87 rating by Scout.

Congrats to Coach Boyle and hope his season contiues well.

Boyle has been recruiting well for UNC which doesn't surprise me one bit. They're young but should do pretty well and I think they'll compete for the Big Sky next year if not this.

Awesome!!! I always enjoyed Coach Boyle. I would think he could do well there given that he is from the area. His passion probably comes out well in recruiting.

I was gonna put Northern Colorado in the listed games of interest, but wasn't sure if anyone would be interested.

if anybody interested, Northern Col plays Hawaii at 3 in the morning on ESPN, as part of ESPN's 24 hours of college basketball.

I won't go that far. But, he was extremely integral in the development of the big men.

I really wish they would do the 24 hours on a weekend.

That would probably make the most sense, but then again, it is ESPN we're talking about.

I'm gonna try to watch at least 1 minute of every game though.. :good:

hey guys, I'm back! Miss me? lol. I agree, the 24 hour marathon would be so much better if it were on a Friday into Saturday, or Saturday into Sunday. But what can you do. It'd be nice to stay up and watch every single game, but alas, it won't happen

Tad appears to have UNC playing well early. I hope they keep it up. I'm gonna have to go back over to their board and check in on 'em.

I think the game announcers last night said that they were picked 6th in the Big Sky. They looked better than that. They were up by 15 with 4 minutes left and then they started missing free throws and Hawai'i started making 3s from everywhere to make it close at the end.
