We better win that one. We will be favored for sure.
After the way Pitt played their first game, I wouldn't concede that we are going to be playing Iowa, even without having Clevin.
Clevin brings the senior leadership which might keep the Shocks from turning a bigger lead into a smaller lead against a weak opponent.

Don't worry too much about it. Just do all you can do and let the rough end drag.

Trop - At this stage in the Shox growth, the automatic bid is probably much more attainable than receiving an at-large bid. I know we're only one week in, but I don't see the Valley getting more than two invites. The automatic and the league champ who didn't win the MVC tourney.

Due to our weak non-con (including Pitt it appears), I don't see another at-large available to us unless we run the non-con, including Texas.

Right now I'd say the Pitt game is 50/50. I'm interested to see how Pitt does against Binghamton and Eastern Kentucky. If they don't blow out both of those teams, then I think that will prove their game against Wofford wasn't a complete fluke and WSU shouldn't just beat Pitt, but handle Pitt.

I still want Valley teams to win. I'm probably neutraal on CU.

I don't think Valley teams winning OOC has much, if any, effect on anything that will happen to WSU.

It's only been 3 years since 2006, but I think that changed the environment forever.
The future's so bright - I gotta wear shades.
We like to cut down nets and get sized for championship rings.

We didn't exactly handle Fairleigh Dickinson, so I think Pitt will be more of a challenge, especially without Clevin. I think it's safe to say that the Valley is down the past few years, and until the conference gets more competitive we can only expect to see 1, maybe 2 teams in the tournament
