    It seemed to me that a couple of KM's turnovers came on situations that he'll get used to in the near future. It looked to me like he got good penetration to the lane, and was expecting the defense to collapse on him. When it didn't, he threw the kickout pass anyway and it got picked off. If he takes that to the hole, he probably gets fouled, and maybe can put in a nifty runner in the lane.

    I'm not too worried about a 3-point shot from KM, but if he can knock down 15 footers with ease, that will force defenders to respect him plenty. I think we get too caught up in a guard's ability to shoot from 3, and all too often, that mid-range jumper is wide open (the one we love to see Ellis shoot).
    You miss 100% of the shots you don't take....

    .....but, statistically speaking, you miss 99% of the shots you do take.

      I would love to see KM develope the pull up jumper (10-15 ft) in the lane.

      Driving hard to the basket and pulling up and elevating with his length would be unblockable.

      Plus a great shot as the clock is winding down.

        One thing I thought I'd see against F-D in the second half was a clear out for KJ to take #12 Scott to the rack or a post up down low. I think Scott got his 4th foul with at least eight minutes left.

        I agree, a short pull up jumper would be hard to defend against KJ.
