It looks like Wofford knocked of Georgia last night as well. I don't think Georgia is supposed to be great by any means but Wofford may be a decent squad. They did push Pitt as well.

They did return everyone from last year's team. It was their first winning season since becoming a Division 1 member. I think they are expected to give College of Charleston a run for their money in the Southern Conference (South). They aren't extremely tall really, but they sound pretty skilled.

                  Yes, they did.

                  UTSA - 62, UI - 50
                  Dusquene - 52, UI - 50

It's bad when you have to play 2 cupcakes to have a shot at 2 good teams and you lose to the cupcakes.

                    Not really

Con't be so quick with your assumptions, newshock.

Last year Duquesne was 21-13 and finished in the upper half of the A-10. They beat Xavier during the regular season and Dayton in the conference tournament, before losing a first round NIT game.

Not a cupcake. From an RPI standpoint, WSU would have been thrilled to get them instead of either of the two genuine cupcakes the Shocks were stuck with.

                      Pitt - 71
                      Eastern Kentucky- 60

                      Final

Still don't know why we shouldn't be able to beat Pitt. Sure they won by 11 on their HOME court. However, Eastern Kentucky I believe is a middle of the pack Ohio Valley team that lost their leading scorer from last year....Mike Rose who averaged 20 ppg/5.3 rpg

Of course I will admit that perhaps they are just trying to build depth right now being a young team. So MAYBE the score is misleading. Just can't wait until Monday. Gonna be fun to see where the team is at!!!

The ONLY thing that concerns me right now is our bigs. They've been tallying quite a few fouls so far....can't get in foul trouble down low against teams that are closer to our level of talent and athleticism.

                      Cleveland St - 78
                      Florida A&M - 64

                      Final

Quick Hypothetical Question....Is Dayton in the BracketBuster? If they are and IF we were to be able to play them, that could be a HUGE game for our hopeful post season play.

They are looking more impressive day by day.

                          No.

Unlike the Valley, the A-10 realized they were above this sinking ship.

DePaul beats UNI 60-52. Bad loss for the Panthers. Last year they found a way to win all of the close games. This league is definately wide open this year.

20 second half points for the conference's "best" team against freaking DePaul?

                                What a bunch of fakes.

Good news for the Valley race.

Bad news for league perception/multiple bids.
