  • Hawkins tears it up in first OBU exhibition

    14-15 from the field

“The rebellion on the populist right against the results of the 2020 election was partly a cynical, knowing effort by political operators and their hype men in the media to steal an election or at least get rich trying. But it was also the tragic consequence of the informational malnourishment so badly afflicting the nation. ... Americans gorge themselves daily on empty informational calories, indulging their sugar fixes of self-affirming half-truths and even outright lies.'

      He's playing center.

      Even for NAIA, I'm

That kind of an athlete at that level should do quite well in the post. I'm happy for him.

I remember several years back when Ind St had a 6' 4" forward that could really board. He either led the league in rebounding or was right up near the top.

I think OBU's opponent's newspaper has it wrong on AJ being a center. The 4th ranked Bison have 5 players taller than AJ's 6'5". He's also listed as a guard on their roster. As a note: OBU has a 6"8" transfer from Wake Forest and 6"5" Nate Brumfield from Hutch Juco.
