  • Eagle Basketball Preview..

There is the online link for their basketball preview.. I don't think it comes out until Thursday of next week (maybe it was Thursday of this week). Lots of good articles about the Shockers and other teams. :goshocks:

They are using a "style" theme for the preview...For example a coach is a "head fashionista" in the Conference Previews. Take it for what its worth
The mountains are calling, and I must go.

In my opinion, not a good way to do a review. I don't want to see the fashion page in the sports section.

I don't know why, but I actually like it. It's a little different... and with all of the previews around the country, unique is good.

As I sat at the table this morning sipping my coffee and reading the preview, I kept thinking, "Boy, this is so lame."

Bob Lutz' piece was about 40% about hypothetically what he would do if he were a head coach, with not much other interesting content. Bob, less about you more about sports, please.

Got to the last page about the Shox, and the little Bonnie Bing thing really was the pièce de résistance for a disappointing review.

          Kirk Seminoff, are you listening?????

I laughed out loud when I read this analogy.

"Can you believe Creighton last won an NCAA game in 2002? The Bluejays are in danger of becoming the MVC's version of a padded bra, promising more than they deliver."

              Lol....Missed that. So true though.

Agree, S85, the Eagle is in trouble if this is the best angle they can come up with for the basketball kickoff!
                What a pansy approach.
                How does "fashioneta" excite anyone?

I doubt if anyone will be clipping these articles to hang in their lockers or staple to their bedroom walls!

As the British might say, "Too clever by half."

I thought the whole approach was lame.

I was interested in bios on Shocker players. If the information was present, then my eyes must have been glazed over by the fashion design.

The photo of the two KU guys, the big guy and Collins was awful. Not much fashion grace there.

Wow, that's a signature line just waiting to happen. :D
