I've stayed at both Crowne Plaza and the Aladdin; both are great hotels, as is the Marriott. All are 2 blocks from KC Live.

Crown Center (as joco said) is quite a ways away, and I would suggest not walking from there.

A friend of mine had a horrific case of bed bug bites while traveling in Italy several years ago. Literally thousands of those little suckers bit him all over his entire body. At first glance I wanted to run thinking he had the plague of all plagues. Yes, funny now; but actually it wasn’t so funny then.

I absolutely despise TicketBastard. A pair of $25 dollar tickets ends up being $41.80. I can understand an extra $5-7 bucks to process the order but 70% markup should be illegal.
