Looks like the lineup is starting to shape up.

If Ellis is finally coming on and Hatch has found his shot, then I'll be real happy with my prediction of the Shox in the top 3 in the Valley. I'm not saying 3rd - I'm saying top 3. The Kool-Aid is really tasty this year.
The future's so bright - I gotta wear shades.
We like to cut down nets and get sized for championship rings.

Yeah, just hope everyone starts buying into the defense a little more. I'm sure once the season gets under way they will though.

What is interesting is to remember how many people gave up on Hatch before he even set foot on campus and the basketball court. Now look how he is being discussed.

I think the reason Hatch was discounted is because he lacks the athleticism of the rest of the team. He has the maturity, strength, work-ethic, and fire to make up for it, and I for one believe that will make this team much stronger.

I like our guard depth with Hannah, Murry, Hatch, Kyles and Manigault, and our post play should give other teams fits! This team should truely be 8-10 deep. If we play defense and make shots throughout the year, WSU will be the team to beat in the Valley!

I just love the fact that we have so many players competeing for a starting position. We all know that will lead to a better team.

I'm with Aargh, top 3 in the MVC, and I'm not saying third!

I'm not saying we won't be 10 deep, but we have to have 2 freshman playing like upperclassmen to be 10 deep. Maybe by the second half of the conference season we'll be there.

Hatch has that blue collar fiery type of attitude that every successful team needs and possess.

One of the most obvious benefits certain college players take advantage of is the RS year as a Frosh. It provides additional time to physically develop and get acclimated to the college way of life.

In Hatch's case, the two year Mormon mission may have initially set him back, but keep in mind you are now witnessing a 23 year old man going to work. And... only a Junior he has another year of eligibility.

It's the same deal where you've read how Hannah is schooling Frosh Manigault & Williams in practice.

There really is no substitute for experience. 8)
Above all, make the right call.

what I like about Hatch is that he plays like he has something to prove, or earn his time. I hope some of our other guys are learning from this and not getting big heads about thier past success.

During a game GH's freshman year he responed to a question from GM with "I feel so inadequate." Not what GM wanted to hear. What a beautiful transformation has taken place.

Hopefully the new guys will learn by example. Examples like Hatch are like gold for young, inexperienced players.

Hatch has pretty good court smarts, he figured out what he needed to do to be successful on the team, and is doing it. I truly hope his left handed shot is back for the season, we need it. He and Richardson kind of have the same look when they shoot.

They gave the left handed shooter the jersey with #22 on it. That brings back some wonderful memories.
