Again, as I stated last year, this is one thing that I completely disagree with Coach Marshall about. If 2 D1 teams are squaring off, sell some tickets.
I know he's got his reasons, but in the grand scheme of things, I just don't think it makes sense.

The scrimmage makes immense sense to me.
2 or 3 hours against a D1 team behind closed doors is a good opportunity to evaluate players, plays, execution, and plans. It's a "real" situation because the level of players is about equal.
That beats 2 hours of pounding the backsides of some lesser players in a game where execution and timing are meaningless because of the differences in skill level.
Both players and coaches can learn more in a scrimmage than in a one-sided "game".The future's so bright - I gotta wear shades.
We like to cut down nets and get sized for championship rings.

Besides with Arkansas-Monticello on our schedule you could argue we do have two exhibition games (or more).
