Maybe Jerome does have a little game from outside. Anything we get from him there is still a bonus. I want to see him being a presence in the paint and dunking on people
I still have no idea how Jerome redshirts this year.
I agree, and I definately don't think he will
"He called me around noon and was thrilled," Brandt said. "He said he was going to be a Shocker forever." -- RIP Guy, you WILL indeed be a Shocker forever!

The more I hear about him the more I think the same thing. Still, I think a lot may depend on what Ellis shows before decision time. How comfortable will Marshall and Co. be going with Ellis and Blair at PF? With Coy out of the picture now it does open up more room for Hamilton. Now that I think more about it, it's very possible that you use all three at PF. That allows for more flexibility if Ellis gets injured again or simply doesn't step up to be a more important factor. I have no idea how Jerome redshirts this year.
What are the chances that Ellis moves over to play some at the 5? He's got the length but is a little thin.
Iād say close to zero, under normal circumstances. From the sound of it, Hamilton appears to be more physical and would be a more likely candidate should JT and GS get into heavy foul trouble -- age notwithstanding.
Coach has said that DW is not quite phycically ready...I take that to mean not quite phycically mature or strong yet...but talented and smart...so a redshirt for him might make sense...Agree with all posters who say a Jerome rr seems more and more unlikely...he seems better and more ready than expected and we are now without Coy....so I would think that the redshirt will be where we are deep....Guard position
Where we are not deep is SF. If we move a SG over to play SF (Hatch and/or Murry) we are now thinner at guard than at forward. That would leave CH, and DK as the only returners with three freshman.
Hatch will play 3 (probably start here) and Murry will be backup, IMO. Murry will start at 2 with DK as backup. Hannah will start at 1 with KM as backup. Ellis will fill in a little at the 3 and 4.
