He was an assistant at Wichita State from 1986-1992. That would be the Fogler-Cohen era. I remember him from the basketball camps when I was a kid. He's a good guy.

Duckett: Grambling fired me by writing a letter

Grambling State men's basketball coach Rick Duckett said he didn't resign but was fired by the school when he was handed a letter Friday morning that he was no longer the head coach, Duckett told ESPN.com Saturday night.

He was fired via a letter. He wasn't at the practice that caused the players death.
