New Valley Fan site

Most of you know that I have my own Saluki blog site where I blog and post vids. Well due to its success, combined with the downfall of ValleyTalk, I have decided to start my own Valley site as well.

It is called The Valley Tally. It will have blogs about MVC football and hoops as well as videos and forums. I hope you guys check it out. I will still keep up my Saluki site and continue writing for Saluki Illustrated. This is just a service for the fans. The Valley deserves something like this.

I joined this site hoping we can get some meaningful discussions going with fans of other teams.

Maybe the trash-talking, "I can post more times than you" clowns will stay on ValleyTalk.

I'll look into it when I have more time. But I hope it works out and most of the crap that's ruined Valley Talk for me stays away. It would be nice to have a site that we could discuss things with other fans in a semi civil way.

The only reason it is the way it is now is because there is absolutely no moderation at all whatsoever. I'll admit to taking advantage of that.

This site will never outgrow VT's popularity or membership level. It's been tried and it has failed... numerous times.

If you want a "semi-civil" place to talk sports with other Valley members, the best way to do it is to ask for moderators on VT and plead to the people who run it to actually give a damn about it.
