Gregg Marshall interview on Omaha radio yesterday - Podcast
Maybe it's just me, but I didn't really think much of these interviewers either. They weren't as uneducated and condescending like Matty P., but they did asked basic cookie cutter questions and were relatively boring, IMO.

For Shocker fans, yes. For CU fans (or fans of any other school) it was probably informative.
They must really hate up there....why would they devote so much time to our coach in the off season. I'm pretty sure they don't have interviews lined up with the other Valley coaches.

It's kind of an obsession.
They are interviewing every coach (or a member of every program if the coach won't come on) as a leadup to the season. Marty Simmons and Kevin McKenna have already been on and Ben Jacobson is scheduled for this Sunday.

I didn't listen to much else, but what I heard I enjoyed. If that is a fair example of what you get on a daily (is it a daily show?) then consider yourselves fortunate.
Now, for good humor, check out the new CU board if you have not. I needed a good laugh, and 15 minutes there was all chuckles for me. :good:

I concur... they seemed very professional and asked logical questions that required more than a simple yes or no answer... oh, and they were courteous and respectful to coach Marshall.

"You Just Want to Slap The #### Outta Some People"
2JA can correct me with what I have wrong, but for those that missed it (and frankly who really cares anyway? It isn't a rivalry.) I think the story goes something like this:
The old board decided to go the rivals route and have a $10/month premium side where it would seem those members get first glimpse of the inside rumor mill courtesy of your friend and mine, Matt Perrault.
I believe Matt owns the board (perhaps co-owns?) and seemingly is quick to point out when he has the story first and what you are missing out by just perusing the free board (a good salesman if you ask me). There would appear to be the usually gaggle of fans that are irritated that they must now pay for what used to be free while others enjoy the exclusivity that $10/month buys you in Omaha cyberworld.
I have no idea who reaps the benefit of the fees (I assume Matt and his people do after a commission to rivals) but I would hate to see Shockernet head down this path. If someone wanted to compete with Shockernet I can perfectly understand it. Just my .02 and worth half as much.
Personally, I might pay $10/month to protect myself from having to read anything from Matt Perrault, but that's just me.
There is an interesting thread on a new commit that seems somewhat similar to Garrett Stutz. Somewhere around 6-11 200 out of Iowa. Grew a bunch of late so they are hoping his PG skills will stay with him as he grows into his new frame. In reading it, all I could think of was that this kid would be dental floss for Ehimen.
